Meet the brand
Exeter Property are the friendly faces behind some of the city’s most loved rentals – experts in lettings, property management and helping people find their perfect home in Exeter.
The brief
Exeter Property wanted to modernise their brand, bring a bit more structure to their socials, and get crystal clear on what they stand for. The goal? To futureproof the brand and make sure it truly connects with both landlords and tenants.
They wanted content that actually reflected who they are — approachable, community-minded experts with a real love for the city they call home.
Basically: less letting agent speak, more Exeter insider.
What I did
I worked with the Exeter Property team to get to the heart of the brand – what makes them them. We kicked things off with a brand workshop (and roughly 1,000 post-it notes) to unpack who they are, what they stand for, and how they want to show up.
From there, I built a full brand strategy and refreshed their visual identity – creating the foundations for a brand that feels modern, cohesive, confident and unmistakably Exeter Property.
Once the strategy was set and we knew what we were talking about, I worked with their web developers to update and modernise the Exeter Property website, with all new copywriting and imagery.
I developed a six-month content plan that gave each platform a clear rhythm and reason to exist. Alongside that, I created a 12-month blog content strategy that mixed SEO-friendly guides with city-centric reads, helping them attract both landlords and tenants organically.
The tone? Professional, but never corporate – more local mate than lettings agent.
These days, I handle create the social media content Exeter Property puts out into the world – making sure every post feels consistent and on-brand, while always evolving.
The results
Not only is the client in love with their new brand look, they received an influx of new landlord enquiries and, perhaps most importantly, they feel confident in their decision making thanks to a set of values they can really live and breathe. Yay!
Their social feeds now feel cohesive, consistent and full of personality, while maintaining a professional edge. Their new website reflects their new brand and the blog has become a useful resource that supports SEO.
